Partnering to Protect Pollinators in Rockland County
At Rockland Bee Removal, our mission goes beyond simply removing bees from homes and properties—we’re dedicated to protecting pollinators and supporting the local ecosystem. That’s why we’ve partnered with West Maple Farm, home to experienced on-site beekeepers who help us safely relocate rescued honey bee colonies.
Relocation, Not Extermination
When we’re called to remove honey bees, our goal is never to destroy the colony. Instead of extermination, we carefully transfer the bees to West Maple Farm, where they are given the chance to thrive in a safe, natural environment. There, the colonies continue their essential work: pollinating local crops, gardens, and wildflowers throughout Rockland County.
Supporting Local Sustainability
This partnership ensures that every rescued hive contributes to the health of our community. By providing honey bees with a protected home base, we’re strengthening the local food system, supporting biodiversity, and ensuring that future generations benefit from thriving pollinator populations.
One Hive at a Time
Together with West Maple Farm, we’re building a more sustainable approach to bee management—one that values the role of pollinators in our lives and landscapes. Every colony we relocate helps protect pollinator health across Rockland County, one hive at a time.
If you suspect you have a honey bee colony on your property, give us a call. With safe, ethical removal and dedicated relocation, we can protect both your home and the bees that help keep our ecosystem alive. ◆
